Stir before and occasionally during use using care not to create bubbles. DO NOT SHAKE!
Before applying the finish, check effect by testing on an extra piece of the same wood or by applying to a hidden part of the object.
Apply a uniform, thin coat using a high quality, clean polyester or natural bristle brush. Do not apply with a roller.
Brush in even strokes in the direction of the wood grain. Use care on vertical surfaces to avoid runs.
Apply at least two thin coats to all surfaces and especially the edges. For maximum protection apply up to four coats.
Between coats, allow to dry 24 hours and sand lightly. Remove all sanding dust before applying each additional coat.
DRYING TIME: Dries to the touch in about 8-10 hours, wait 24 hours before recoating. Dry times are longer in high humidity or cool temperatures. Apply only when surface and air temperatures are 50-90°F (10-32°C) during application and drying time. Avoid application in direct sunlight or when rain is threatening or late in the day when dew may affect the drying time.
