Today marks the end of an era for Clinton J. Boyd and Ring's End. Clint is retiring after 21 years of service to the company and on his birthday, no less. He will be missed for his dedication, professionalism, and positive outlook, but more than anything we will miss his smile. Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what brought you to Ring’s End.
I was working on a home improvement project and came to Ring's End to purchase supplies. My friend Pat Sullivan told me Ring's End was hiring truck drivers so I applied and got the job.
Q: What do you remember about your first day at Ring’s End?
I rode with Burt the first day. The next day I drove the truck and Burt taught me how to operate the boom.
Q: What is the best advice you have ever been given?
Be prompt, pay attention, ask questions, be patient and respectful.
Q: What has stood out the most through your Ring’s End career?
The owners, foremen, and other co-workers who helped me out during my career.
