2-1/4 in. hardwood strip flooring creates a traditional look for any home. White Oak flooring has less pronounced finer graining and warmer golden brown tones than red oak flooring. Slightly harder than red oak, unfinished white oak flooring is ready for stain or a clear top coat finish.
Allow four to five days for the flooring to become acclimated to that particular job site. Temperature and humidity should be maintained at or near occupancy levels.
Coverage of 2.25 in. board = SF to cover x 5.33 = Lineal Feet needed (approximately). When estimating quantity needed, add 5% for waste. An additional 5% to that quantity for floors installed on a 45 degree angle.
