Characterized by a series of small, rounded convex shapes, resembling beads, that are evenly spaced along the length of the molding, this piece of trim adds a finishing touch to any moulding design. It is often used as part of wainscoting or wall paneling designs that can be installed horizontally along the bottom portion of a wall to create a traditional beadboard look. Another common usage is part of ceiling designs, either as a border around the perimeter of the ceiling or as part of a coffered ceiling treatment.
