Surface Preparation & Application: Apply on top primed level 5 prepared walls. Authentic Venetian Plaster does not require sanding to obtain a shine because the marble inside shines naturally as soon as the product is compressed.

On a completely dry surface, apply one coat of Grassello Fino High Gloss VP with a stainless steel trowel, using a circular motion in small controllable sections. Smoothing each section as you go, before it starts to dry out. Work the surface gently with a sponge trowel, while the product is wet, and smoothing in circular motion. Once the surface is completely dry, apply a second layer, with a clean stainless steel trowel. Before it dries out, work the surface with a sponge trowel, while the product is still wet, to obtain an even but very smooth surface. To achieve the polished effect, recommended to burnish out the surface while wet with a special stainless steel trowel X1 and compact with pressure. Recommended after allowing to dry and apply wax to protect. The fourth coat of Cera Wax should be buffed and makes Grassello Fino shine like glass. Use our specially treated stainless steel application tools to avoid black marks on your plaster application. You can order Grassello Fino in its natural white base, or choose a color of your preference.

Please keep in mind that the physical appearance of the product might be slightly different from the digital. Grassello Fino VP is a high gloss product that can be sealed with silver, gold, or bronze wax to create an even more dynamic finish.

Preparation: Do not apply on fresh/new substrates; wait a maturation period of 4 weeks for proper curing time on substrates. Allow primer to properly dry.

Clean Up: With water, immediately after use. Clean trowel during process with damp cloth.

Dilution: None needed, ready for use. (If needed 0-5%)

Coverage: 10-12 square feet per kilo, based on a 3 coat process.

Dry Time: Protect surface from rain 12 hours after application. 24 hours approx. Depending on the substrate absorption rate and environmental conditions.
