Surface Preparation & Application: 3 Coat process. First start with a totally dry surface & sound surface. First coat of Florenzia, apply smoothly with a stainless steel trowel, recommended with circular patterns. After at leasy 8 hours of drying time, apply a second coat of Florenzia with a stainless steel trowel. After at leasy 12 hours of drying time, lightly sand the surface with sandpaper if necessary. Then remove dust created by sanding and proceed with the third application of Florenzia on small portions of the wall, to create a typical "Stucco" type look. Work in small sections, to keep a wet edge while working throughout the whole application process. When the product starts to set during the third application, now you can burnish the surface with a clean stainless steel trowel, in order to make it more compact and glossier. While burnishing, wipe down your stainless steel trowel each time you strike the wall, during the burnishing process. The drying time after burnishing is approximately 24 hours.
