PHENOSEAL® Does It All® Vinyl adhesive caulk is an all-purpose adhesive caulk that can be used for interior and exterior applications. It bonds, caulks or seals most common building materials. It provides a durable, weatherproof seal by preventing air and moisture from passing through cracks and joints thereby improving energy efficiency. Cured caulk is mildew resistant. PHENOSEAL® Does It All® vinyl adhesive caulk can be painted over with latex and oil-based paints and it offers easy water clean up.
1. Surface must be clean, dry and free of all old caulk, dirt, dust, debris and grease. Rubbing
alcohol is recommended for removing soap film and soil.
2. Remove cap (from tube). Cut nozzle at 45º angle to desired bead size.
3. Load into caulking gun if using the 10 fl. oz. cartridge.
4. Fill gap with caulk, pushing caulk ahead of nozzle.
5. If necessary, smooth bead with finishing tool.
6. Clean up excess uncured caulk with a damp sponge before it skins over. Cured caulk must be cut
or scraped away.
7. Caulk will dry in 12 to 48 hours, depending on joint depth, temperature and humidity. Allow
caulk to dry at least 2 hours (longer in cool or humid conditions) before painting with latex or
oil-based paints.
